McCormack's
History

McCormack’s are part of the fabric of Dun Laoghaire and surrounding areas. Mounttown is a residential road nestled between Honeypark, Dun Laoghaire and Monkstown.

Paddy and Brid’s son, Paddy, has been serving customers all his life; he has been running the family pub since he took it over in 1976.  We now have the third generation, Patrick McCormack, along with Paddy McCormack, looking after our customers and keeping the McCormack family values to the fore.

It's one of the neatest pubs around, with trees and shrubbery between the car park and an imaginative conservatory extension at the back of the pub, effectively screening the car park and allowing for an attractive outdoor eating/drinking space beside the conservatory. The main part of this well-run pub is full of character, and bar food cooked to order

I attended a family event here this weekend. The area reserved was really nice, the platters were high quality, and staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely a family friendly venue and I would highly recommend it for family get togethers.

I have a history with this pub. Originally from dun Laoghaire and lived across the street till I was six Breed / Brid McCormick was my godmother. Was so great to come back to my hometown again and see McCormick pub still there and still owned and run by the same family. The food was delicious!

This was my third visit within two months. The roast beef dinner (had 2 times) is fantastic ! Also had fish and chips - fish is fresh and chunky - really good. Service was super fast and efficient. Atmosphere pleasant and good for conversation. Outside beer garden very pleasant. Free Car park very convenient.

Best food and service in the area. Superb Lamb Shank, Chicken Coconut Curry, amazing pasta dishes and always the best Fish and Chips. Great prices and tasty food. Friendly staff. Guinness is great and wine list also good.
